Day at the Museum

– Wayne Thiebaud
Today, I went to explore the museum to get some outfit inspiration. It is always a serene and calming place where I find myself with the time to reflect. After, I decided to do some thrift shopping and found this really cute sweater dress by Brochu Walker. I would wear it with tights or thigh high boots for more coverage.

Since, it is a basic, it is the perfect canvas to play with accessories. Here, I’ve placed it with Freda oxfords and a Tod’s cuff.

Lastly, I found these really great Robert Clergerie oxfords that remind me of the popular Pradas. They have a ton of detail and the platform adds a nice touch.
Weekend Daze

The weather this weekend was great, which made for the perfect outdoor escape. I explored some trails and had the chance to take in all of nature’s beauty. The flowers have started to bloom and their vibrancy was breathtaking. I am sad to see the weekend go but PFW will be starting soon and I can’t wait to look at what the runways will show for the coming fall.
In the spirit of fall, I found a top over the weekend that would be perfect for the season or even for the cooler days of spring since the material is so light. It is a Toga Pulla Pullover in a white, black, and tartan/plaid print that has a loose and relaxed cut. It pairs really well with these chic Stella Platforms. Since the top is big and open, I would pair it with fitted pants or a fitted skirt.

The Blues

I found this knitted sweater yesterday. It has a really rich blue hue and the cut allows for easy layering. The sleeves cinch at the wrist and it has some ribbing along the front that gives this sweater a modern touch.

Hi!
Hi Everyone!
I am excited to be starting this blog and sharing with all of you my love of fashionable finds (and maybe a sprinkle of food, my cat, and other things).
Trends may be expensive to follow, but style is priceless. Let’s start this off with a picture from my summer in Paris.
